NGOs, Non Profit, NFPs and Charities
Justin’s biggest success to date was managing the Australia-wide World’s Greatest Shave in 2007. There were over 100,000 participants and the total raised was a staggering $12.5m! This was a 34% increase on the previous attempt.
When you speak to Justin he’ll look closely at what your realistic goals and wildest dreams are. From there he’ll evaluate the project’s financial viability, its marketability, the leveraging opportunities available and finally its community value. Once you’ve discussed all these important factors, a plan of attack will be drawn up and then the simple procedure of following Justin’s step by step process will make that impossible dream seem too easy when we cross the finish line together.
This is Justin’s pet focus for the near future. With so much success in the charity, club and NGO fields it’s time to devote more energy to helping schools help their students. Many school committees are time poor and find it hard to recruit members that bring fundraising skills to the table, let alone still using outdated methods to raise much needed funds for projects that fees and grants don’t cover. As a parent, Justin puts two hats on when it comes to providing countless solutions and ideas for schools looking to fundraise.
With over 1000 events for clubs around the world under his belt, Justin considers this to be his ‘thing!’
As the great Vince Lombardi once said, “if you fail to prepare, then you are preparing to fail”. Justin has added to that by stating, “A Successful Club Administration leads to Success in the playing Arena”.
Big-money sport today means looking for the 1%ers; this means a club needs to have a well-oiled and finely-tuned administration to ensure the club as a whole tastes success. Now your club may not have the big bucks to spend, but if you spend smart then all outsiders will think your reserves are endless. The secret to a successful fundraiser for clubs is so simple, and Justin is going to help you every step of the way with his simple 1, 2, 3 guidelines.
Here are just a few of Justin’s Crew that have eagerly come on board to assist grass roots clubs fundraise – Sir Vivian Richards, Sam Kekovich, Mal Meninga, Ron Barassi, Joe Bugner, Allan Border, Tommy Raudonikis, David Campese, David Boon, Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh, Dipper, Glenn McGrath, Darryl Brohman and Mike Whitney . We think that’s a good start, but there are so many more legends waiting to help your club.
We’d be sitting on the Reserve Bank’s cash holdings if we received a dollar for every time our phone has rung and the person on other end is trying to find a unique way to grab their community’s attention in order to support a friend or family member. Justin is always inventing ‘out of the box’ ways to inspire others to help their closest get back a lifestyle they so richly deserve.
With so many wonderful charitable organisations out there, we’ve found many people just need some guidance about where to begin. Then once they’ve got the ball rolling, a little guidance and reassurance from Justin has helped them achieve their mission.
